No doubt,our education system is far beyind and is not getting enough support and finances from the Government. We are the residents of Government Employees Housing Society Faisalabad very painfully submit as under:
1-That this society was formed/created in 1989/90 by the commissioner Faisalabad for their Faisalabad division employees. The society was purposed at chak No 199 RB Gatwala Faisalabad. Occupying 23 acres of land and consist of approximately 202 plots of different sizes.
2-The plots were allotted to the members through open balloting. The membership was open only to the commissioner Faisalabad division employees.
3-The allots later on sold these plots to the public,who purchased these plots under the attraction of the amenities package announced by the society.
4-The society had to provide all the basic amenities i.e Electricity,Sewerage,Water,and Means of communication etc to its inhabitants.
5-Only sewerage system was made available to the residents,but still not working.
6-The infrastructure for electricity supply was raised but the society could not manage to get it connected to the WAPDA supply during the last 18/20 years with the result that the transformers/wires have gone missing during this period,only poles are still intact.
7-The society has an administrative setup and its paraphernalia is being paid from the society funds regularly that costs Rs. 40000/PM. Whereas there is no visible effort on their part to get the electricity issue resolved. Several meetings with the society’s administrative head have proved futile as no step has been taken in this regard.
8-Repeated request to the registrar cooperative societies Faisalabad for looking in to the matter have also gone un-heeded.
9-There is no proper arrangement of watch &ward and go gates for proper entrance are provided.
10-It is worth mentioning that societies/colonies established much later have provided all the amenities to its inhabitants,whereas the infra structure of this society instead of being energized has one missing for the reason best known to the society administration.
11-It is very pain full and worth mentioning that there are very pain full encroachments like Khokas on the gate passage of colony and gobar on the roads and animals,buffalos kept in the colony and sewerage water is damaging the houses.
It is requested in February,2009 cutting of the news were sent to Commissioner / DCO Faisalabad. But no action taken in this regard. Now we have .
